Your Path to Wellness
At the Y, we know fitness involves more than working out. It's about making good choices to live well inside and out.
Whether you’re looking to lose weight, get stronger, eat healthier, fight disease, improve your energy, or lower stress, we have people and programs in place to help. Our wellness programs aim to improve our members health by providing programs and activities that promote overall well-being, no matter where you are on your journey toward better health.
Supporting A Healthy Lifestyle
The Healthy Family Home program, initiated by the YMCA of San Benito County, addresses the alarming rise in childhood obesity rates, especially prevalent in the local community. Backed by compelling statistics on the increasing health risks associated with obesity in children, the program emphasizes early intervention as a crucial strategy for preventing long-term health issues. It recognizes the pivotal role parents play in shaping a child's lifestyle and aims to empower families through a comprehensive approach.
