Membership Associate

Description:

The Watsonville Family YMCA is seeking a responsible person who is friendly, energetic with strong customer service experience. Ideal candidates will create a nurturing, meaningful, and seamless experience for YMCA members and guests and will demonstrate YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

 

This is a part-time position, working approximately 20 hours weekly, $12/hour.

 

Requirements:

  • Must have high school diploma or GED
  • Must have minimum of one year of customer service, member relations or sales experience
  • Basic computer skills with at least one year of data entry experience required
  • CPR and First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Must have effective listening and communication skills
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Maintain a professional appearance and behavior
  • Must have ability to connect with people
  • Must pass a background check
