Rental Staff Team Member

The South County YMCA has a great opportunity for a part-time Rental Staff Team Member. This is an ideal secondary job for someone who has availability at night and weekends. The preferred candidate selected is responsible for assisting in all phases of community and private rental events including room set-up and breakdown. The preferred candidate will have a strong sense of teamwork, an urgency to get the job done and take pride in their work.


  • Competitive, assertive, and driven personality is a must.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Basic working knowledge of cleaning principles & equipment
  • Must be able to model the core values; Caring, Respect, Responsibility, and Honesty
  • Current First Aid and CPR/AED certifications preferred or required within 90 days of hire date or position acceptance.
  • Ability to work well within a “Team” environment and driven to complete tasks as a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to be professional, alert, courteous, and diplomatic.
  • Must be coachable and willing to learn new skills


  • Present for all scheduled shifts
  • Work at all times as a team member with the goal of efficiency and urgency
  • Report any damage to supervisor/team lead immediately
  • Working knowledge of all cleaning principles and practices as trained and expected from supervisor.
  • Effectively communication (face to face, phone, email) with supervisor when necessary
